The organization was established as the Philippine Government Dietitian and Nutritionist (PGDN) with Mrs. Adelisa Cifra-Ramos as its first president.
Name changed from PGDN to Philippine Society of Dietitian and Nutritionist (PSDN), expanding membership beyond government workers.
PSDN became Philippine Society of Nutritionist and Dietitians (PSND), Inc. to include private sector professionals.
Launched "Webinar on Weekend" for virtual continuing education and member engagement during the pandemic.
Reestablished as Philippine Stakeholders for Nutrition and Dietetics, Inc. with improved governance and new partnerships.

PSND provides continuing education through conventions, symposia, and seminars; offers technical assistance; conducts community outreach; and maintains professional development programs for nutrition and dietetics professionals across the Philippines.
