The PSND participated in the National Dairy Authority’s Dairy Fair Inaugural Day on 31 May 2024 at the Bureau of Animal Industry Grounds, BAI Compound, Visayas Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.

The Dairy Fair showcased the signing of a Manifesto advocating for nutrition and food security in the Philippines. This highlights the essential role of milk in the nation’s feeding program, as mandated by Republic Act 11037, also known as the Masustansiyang Pagkain para sa Batang Pilipino Act. The Manifesto appeals to policymakers to strengthen the cold chain of the national feeding program to ensure safe and quality milk. The implementation of the feeding program by the National Dairy Authority under RA 11037 has been ongoing for five years, making it high time to invest in infrastructure to ensure food safety and healthy meals.

Representing PSND at the event were PSND Secretary Kirstein Itliong, Assistant Secretary Jeline Marie Copuz and Board of Trustee Luz Felicidad Callanta.
