On May 2, 2024, the benchmarking activities of the Indonesian Nutrition Association (Persatuan Ahli Gizi Indonesia, PERSAGI) continued with a series of interviews and a field visit.

In the morning, interviews were conducted with faculty members from the University of the Philippines, Los Baños – Institute of Human Nutrition and Food. The interviewees included Dr. Leila Africa, Dr. Angelina Bustos, Mr. Paul Alteo Bagabaldo, and Ms. Ann Cayetano, focusing on nutrition in academia.

In the afternoon, the field visit began with an interview with Ms. Madeleine Alforja, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer and Ms. Miraflor Tado, Chief of Staff of the Municipality of Los Baños, Laguna. This was followed by a visit to Rural Health Unit 1 of Los Baños, where PERSAGI representatives met and had a discussion with Dr. Alvin Isidro, Municipal Health Officer and Councilor Muriel Laisa Dizon, SB Committee in Health, Nutrition and Sanitation of Los Baños, Laguna.
