PSND Board of Trustees Member Iris Rowena A. Bernardo had the privilege of attending the 2023 National Nutrition Awarding Ceremony at the Manila Hotel held on 12 February 2024.

This event acknowledged exemplary local government units for their substantial investments in nutrition, contributing to the enhanced well-being of their communities.

The ceremony featured a message from Assistant Secretary and Executive Director of the National Nutrition Council (NNC), Dr. Azucena M. Dayanghirang. Esteemed attendees include key stakeholders including Secretary of Health and Chair, NNC Governing Board (GB) Dr. Teodoro Herbosa; Secretary of Interior and Local Government and Vice Chair, NNC GB Benjamin Abalos Jr.; and Ms. Luz Tagunicar from the Department of Health.
