The Indonesian Nutrition Association, known as Persutuan Ahli Gizi Indonesia (PERSAGI) and led by President Dr. Rudatin, linked up with the Philippine Stakeholders for Nutrition and Dietetics (PSND) for a 3-day visit to the Philippines. The purpose of the visit was to benchmark and interview Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians with the aim of enhancing nutrition education policies in Indonesia, aligning them with the latest global advancements in nutrition science and professional practice.

On 1 May 2024, the delegation interviewed select members of the PSND Board of Trustees. Among those interviewed were Dr. Marivic Samson, a public health nutritionist-dietitian with extensive experience in nutrition planning and policy formulation, as well as Ms. Luz Felicidad Callanta and Ms. Kirstein Itliong, who provided insights on nutrition in the academic setting.
