The webinar featured a presentation by Mr. Daniel Salunga, PhD candidate at the University of Basel. He shared his research on exploring the impact and effectiveness of the Operation Timbang Plus guidelines through the perspectives of Barangay Nutrition Scholars.

Ms. Jasmine Anne DF Tandingan from the Nutrition Surveillance Division of the National Nutrition Council followed with a comprehensive update on the current and revised implementing guidelines of Operation Timbang Plus, broadening our understanding of the changes and their implications.

Dr. Leila Africa, a professor at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, then gave the final session on the Operation Timbang Plus Tool Data Quality Check Protocol. Her insights highlighted the importance of data integrity and accuracy in nutrition monitoring.

The webinar was guided by PSND President Cristina Sison, who not only moderated the discussions but also provided insightful closing remarks that captured the session’s learning and ways forward of the PSND.
